Medha Patkar, the rights activist with the Narmada Bachao Andolan (Save Narmada Movement) and many other rights movements, has openly challenged those who support the farm laws to come forward and participate in an open debate on their purpose and intent. Patkar asserts the laws’ supporters do not have the guts to engage in a public discussion on the subject.
Patkar’s team of activists from Maharashtra have been routinely dropping by various farmer protest sites around Delhi. Their aim – to charge up the demonstrators with a street show of their ‘drums of dissidence’. Watch the inspiring video.
