Years after invading Afghanistan, the US admitted it was a mistake. Years after invading Iraq, too, the Americans called the act a mistake.
Now, the United States has gone one step further in its love for doing ludicrous flip-flops after irresponsible experiments. Two and a half years after the new flu was declared a pandemic, America’s leading health agency and vaccine promoter has confessed that its handling of the pandemic response was a failed operation.
This week, Rochelle Walensky, the chief of the US CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) said, “To be frank, we [at the CDC] are responsible for some pretty dramatic, pretty public mistakes, from [Covid] testing to data to communications.”
The CDC’s director made the rare confession in a recorded video that was circulated among the American health agency’s staff. “This is our watershed moment. We must pivot,” Walensky said in the video. “It is time for CDC to change,” she said separately in an interview.
This comes after the CDC acknowledged that “unvaccinated people now have the same guidance as vaccinated people” and that those exposed to COVID-19 are no longer required to quarantine, the organization underwent a major overhaul.
Walensky was appointed head of the CDC in December 2020 during the transition of the US presidency from Donald Trump to Joe Biden. She has often been slammed for scaring and confusing the American public with dodgy guidelines on mask use, school reopenings, and quarantining.
The US CDC’s admission of its failure exposes the grandstanding posture assumed by the US during the pandemic. Flaunting the likes of the CDC as well as White House’s trusted vaccine marketer Anthony Fauci, Washington has continued promoting devastating lockdowns and untested American vaccines globally.
SAYING SORRY ISN’T ENOUGH
Basically, America has done what it does best – say sorry and walk away from the mess it created. It has done it countless times in the past with military interventions and diplomatic rows. It is now playing the same tactic after its dark role in the pandemic is increasingly getting exposed.
It was the US and a few of its G7 cronies that nudged the WHO to unleash horrific measures across the world, one after another another – lockdowns, mask mandates, vaccine mandates, booster drives. The moves collectively proved to be damaging with hundreds of thousands of people around the world getting killed and injured due to the untested vaccines’ side-effects.
Who will now take ownership of vaccine-induced heart attack deaths, lifelong injuries from vaccine-related paralysis cases, other forms of jab-induced illnesses, and lockdown-driven joblessness and shutdowns?
Saying sorry and walking away like the CDC has done isn’t enough, America needs to understand this. With every single mess it creates – be it an illegal war or the worldwide promotion of untested vaccines – the US should be held legally liable. But is anybody prepared to take the bull by the horns?
